Dr. Beth Sinclair is a clinical psychologist. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Beth has experience working with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, general distress and difficulty coping. She enjoys working with people across the age spectrum, from children through to older adults.

Her primary theoretical orientation is cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), however she also has experience with acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy and trauma-focused CBT. She works with her clients to select the treatment option that is most appropriate for them, given their presentation and the evidence base available. She has a particular interest in working with clients who have chronic and complex mental health challenges.

Beth is committed to providing evidence-based clinical care to her clients, and making the therapy room a safe space. She is passionate about supporting her clients in all spheres of their lives, and working with them to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Beth also enjoys working with clients who would like to integrate their Christian faith with evidence-based treatment.

Beth typically has a waitlist. When the waitlist is open, clients can be added to the waitlist by emailing Beth.

Current clients (who have had an appointment within the last 6 weeks) can book appointments online here.

Additionally, Beth also has particular interest in providing clinical supervision to provisional psychologists, registrars and colleagues. Most recently, she spent three years managing and leading a student-led psychology clinic at a local university, which provided her with a unique understanding of the supervision space. Individuals who are interested in receiving supervision can email Beth to discuss this further.
